Registration of Indian Nationals in ROK

All Indians are requested to Register themselves with the Embassy. This would help us to share important information for all Indian Nationals in RoK.

Guidelines for Required of Photographs:

If wearing Glasses: The photograph must show the eyes clearly with no flash reflecction off the glasses, and no tinted lenses (if possible, avoid heavy frames- lighter framed glasses to be worn). Make sure that the frames do not cover any part of the eyes

Head Coverings: are not permitted except for religious reasons, but the facial features from bottom of chin to top of forehead and both edges of the face must be clearly shown.

The Photographs Must: show straight, looking at the camera with a neutral expression and the mouth closed. These should not be chair on back, toys or other people visible.

The Photographs must: be colour neutral showing the eyes open and clearly visible. No hair across the eyes.Facing square to the camera, and showing both edges of the face clerly be taken with a plan light-coloured background with uniform lighting and without show shadows or flash reflections on the face and eye. Portrait or tilted photograph will not be accepted.

The Photographs must be: 35-40mm in width close up of head and top of shoulders so that face takes up 70-80% of the photograph in sharp focus and clear of high quality with no marks.

The Photographs must: show looking directly at the camera show skin tones naturally, have appropriate brightness and contrast at high resolution, Photographs to be taken with a difital camera must be high quality colour. Studio photos should be submitted.

Advise on fee deposit:

ALL FEES SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDING OF RUPEE-WON EXCHANGE RATE. Applicants are advised not to deposit any fee to the bank prior to their visit to Embassy for consular service. Fee once deposited will not be refunded.
