The Embassy of India & the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) in association with the Shinsegae Mallis organizing Indian Film Festival (IFF) fromMarch 16-18, 2015 at the 10F, Culture Hall of Shinsegae Mall Main Branch in Myeongdong. The festival has been organizing with the support of Department of Indian Films and Indian Tourism Organization, EROS International India and a host of other organizations. Similar film festival has been organized successfully in Busan, Incheon, Daegu, Jeju,Yeosu&Suncheon.
2. Among India’s well known identities is the Indian cinema. It is well known abroad and in India for its entertainment value and its aesthetic aspects.India is the world's largest producer of films. Over 1000 films are produced in India every year in the main centres of Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata,Bengaluru and in Kerala. Indian films enjoy a huge audience all over the world and have regularly won international awards, for excellence in various categories.
3.During the film festival, five well acclaimed Indian Filmswith Korean sub titles - Kahaani, BhaagMilkhaBhaag, Ranjhana, Ramleela and Vicky Donor will be screened. All the films have won awards at national and international film festivals.
