INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL IN SEOUL

As part of the celebrations to commemorate the 40th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the Republic of Korea, an Indian Film Festival will be held at CGV Yeouido, IFC Mall in Seoul from 24-28 May 2013.  The festival has been organized by the Embassy of India, with the support of CGV, ‘Incredible India’ (India Tourism) and India’s Directorate of Film Festivals. Last month the film festival was held at Busan to packed auditoriums.

2.  A selection of six films will be shown at this event – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Rockstar, Fashion, Veer Zaara, Jab We Met and Lage Raho Munnabhai. (For more information, please see http://www.cgv.co.kr/)

3. The Embassy of India invites all friends of India and Indian movie lovers to the Film Festival in Seoul. The Festival will be flagged off with a brief inaugural cultural show by the Indian Cultural Centre on Friday, 24 May 2013 at 1600 hrs. Both the winners of the ‘Incredible India & Korea Times Quiz Contest’ will also be felicitated at the function.

4. The Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) was set up in 2011 in Seoul. It offers regular Yoga and dance classes by highly qualified Indian instructors, besides Hindi language classes. Details may be viewed at http://indoculture.org/. All friends of India are invited to avail of facilities of ICC.
